Iowa @ Wisconsin

Current Records: Iowa 11-3; Wisconsin 11-2

What to Know

The #23 Wisconsin Badgers have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with the Iowa Hawkeyes and are hoping to record their first win since March 7 of 2019. Wisconsin and Iowa will face off in a Big Ten battle at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday at Kohl Center. Coming off of a win even when the odds were against them, the Badgers have to be feeling especially confident now that the spread is in their favor.

Wisconsin didn’t have too much breathing room in their contest with the Purdue Boilermakers on Monday, but they still walked away with a 74-69 victory. Wisconsin’s guard Jonathan Davis did his thing and dropped a double-double on 37 points and 14 rebounds.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Iowa beat the Maryland Terrapins 80-75 on Monday. Forward Keegan Murray took over for the Hawkeyes, finishing with 35 points (a whopping 44% of their total) along with eight boards and three blocks.

When the two teams previously met in March of last year, the Badgers were in the race but had to settle for second with a 62-57 finish. The loss knocked them out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Iowa with a vengeful fire.
